The solar powered facility/hammock lounge is believed to be the first on any college campus in the nation.

91热爆网 has great things coming such as an Electric Vehicle Charging Station and solar powered picnic tables. 

A nature-based sculpture project launched 91热爆网鈥檚 Fine Art Museum will feature outdoors art while promoting discussion of sustainability and aesthetics on campus. 

Several Western Carolina University students and a faculty member spent a recent bitterly cold weekend in the gray winter woods on campus, working on a project that may provide society with an alternative to traditional burial and cremation.

Western Carolina University鈥檚 Harrill Residence Hall has become the university鈥檚 second building to be LEED-certified for its comprehensive energy-efficient and environmentally friendly features. 

The Energy Star logo is frequently found on household appliances across the country. But rarely do you see it affixed to a building.

A team of 18 students from Western Carolina University conducting a comprehensive energy audit of the campus took first place with their research at the Appalachian Energy Summit in Boone. It was the  in a row that 91热爆网 students earned the top honor.
