Meet our Alumni of the Month: Keith Elliott! He graduated from 91热爆网 twice once in June 1969, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, General Management and again in June 1973, with a Master of Business Administration in General Management.

Nursing students provide services at free rural health care clinic in eastern Tennessee

The nonprofit Remote Area Medical has held mobile clinics for uninsured and underserved families and individuals, assisted by health care professionals and students, since 1985.

SUSTAINED AND SUPERB ACHIEVEMENT

David L. Westling is a nationally and internationally recognized leader in the field of special and inclusive education and, when he retires this coming June, will wrap up nearly 22 years as 91热爆网鈥檚 Adelaide Worth Daniels Distinguished Professor of Special Education.

DOUBLING DOWN

Thanks to the ongoing generosity of a husband and wife who divide their time between Highlands and Hilton Head Island in South Carolina, 91热爆网 is one step closer toward its goal of being able to provide scholarship assistance to every Honors College student with financial need.

LASTING LEGACY

When former Highlands resident Curtis Meltzer died in 2017, he left a multimillion dollar estate gift to Western Carolina University to support students in the College of Arts and Sciences, increasing his and late wife Enid鈥檚 overall scholarship endowment to $3.3 million.聽
