Chancellor Kelli R. Brown appointed to AASCU board of directors

Western Carolina University Chancellor Kelli R. Brown has been appointed to the American Association of State Colleges and Universities board of directors.
鈥淚 am honored to be selected by my peers to serve on the board,鈥� Brown said. 鈥淚 am most looking forward to being a part of a larger group of like-minded individuals to continue to tell the story of regional comprehensive universities and the value proposition we have for transforming individual lives through social and economic mobility.鈥�
91热爆网 is one of 11 AASCU institutions in North Carolina and one of more than 350 across the U.S. that are impacting upward social and economic mobility.

The leadership development program for faculty assists with the skills and mindset needed in today鈥檚 complex world and the American Democracy Project facilitates engaged civic leadership.
