91热爆网 announces new graduates, dean鈥檚/chancellor鈥檚 list for fall
Western Carolina University has announced its roster of new graduates and released its dean鈥檚/chancellor鈥檚 list for fall semester 2018.
The university conferred degrees on 759 students who completed their studies during the fall semester. A total of 248 undergraduate students received academic honors, with 65 graduating summa cum laude (with highest honors), 93 graduating magna cum laude (with high honors), and 89 graduating cum laude (with honors).
Students in the fall graduating class are listed on the , showing the student鈥檚 name, city of residence, state of residence, zip code, type of degree received and major. Undergraduate honors also are shown, when applicable.
A total of 3,034 91热爆网 students have been named to the dean鈥檚 list for fall semester, and 1,655 of those students also were named to the chancellor鈥檚 list, an additional designation of high academic achievement at the university.
To qualify for the dean鈥檚 list, students must achieve at least a 3.5 GPA out of a possible 4.0 on a regular semester鈥檚 work of not less than 12 hours, excluding remedial courses, with no grade of D or F. Students named to the chancellor鈥檚 list met those specifications while also achieving a GPA of 3.8 or higher.
