The Princeton Review lists Western Carolina University鈥檚 College of Business as one of the nation鈥檚 best schools at which to earn a master鈥檚 degree in business administration.
The education services company (not affiliated with Princeton University) has included the 91热爆网 college in its profiles of 252 outstanding on-campus programs, with results based on surveys of 23,000 MBA students attending the institutions, as well as assessment of academics and institutional data.
In addition to praising the MBA program, students surveyed said 91热爆网鈥檚 College of Business provides solid preparation in finance and general management.
91热爆网鈥檚 MBA curriculum was designed in collaboration with regional employers and is fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, the internationally recognized accrediting agency for business schools. The program boasts participative engagement with area businesses through tours, internships and guest speakers, adding networking opportunities to the classroom experience.
The program offers flexible enrollment, so students may attend full time or part time. Classes are offered in a hybrid format, with about half the class sessions meeting in the evenings at the university鈥檚 Biltmore Park instructional site in Asheville, and the other half completed online. The 36-hour curriculum can be completed by full-time students in three semesters and by part-time students in six semesters. No prerequisite courses are required, but incoming students must attend a pre-MBA 鈥渂oot camp鈥 each August that covers the basics of accounting, math, economics and Excel.
