Thompson, Pearson joining together for clarinet, piano recital

Western Carolina University clarinetist Shannon Thompson and pianist Lillian Pearson will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, in the recital hall of the Coulter Building on the 91热爆网 campus.
The performance is free and open to the public. The program of German romantic music features Brahms鈥檚 鈥淪onata in Eb Major鈥� and other works by Fanny Mendelssohn, Felix Draeseke and Norbert Burgm眉ller.
Lillian Pearson
A member of both the Asheville and Hendersonville symphony orchestras, Thompson has performed throughout the U.S. as a recitalist and chamber musician. Pearson鈥檚 musical career includes solo orchestral appearances with the Jacksonville and Asheville symphonies, the Breckenridge Festival Orchestra, the Western Carolina Civic Orchestra, National Chamber Players and the Brandenburg Ensemble.
