The Office of Global Engagement has decided to suspend the Intensive English Program (IEP) starting January 1, 2023.
Intensive English Program students may apply for conditional admission to study in Western Carolina University's undergraduate. We are here to help you with the application process. Contact our Admissions Specialist at iep@wcu.edu.
Admission Requirements
- For IEP or IEP with conditional admission to a 91热爆网 Undergraduate program:

- A minimum age of 18
- High school or secondary school diploma
- IEP with conditional admission to 91热爆网 Graduate program: contact Graduate School Admissions.
- Admission to 91热爆网 Undergraduate programs requires successful completion of the 91热爆网 IEP, 75 TOEFL iBT, 6.0 IELTS, 95 Duolingo, or 50 PTE Academic

**This is conditional admission to a bachelor's degree ONLY.**
Upload these required documents to the online application or send to iep@wcu.edu.
- Passport OR Permanent Residency Card
- High School or University Transcripts
- Financial Worksheet and Documents showing support of atleast $28 541 (USD)
If you are in the USA right now, you must also submit:

Follow these steps to Record a Short Video.

- Answer the question with a 1.5 minute video
Submit your ID photograph using our .
Your picture should follow these guidelines:
- JPEG file format
- Look at the camera (like in a passport photograph)
- Do not cover your face
- No hats (traditional headwear is fine)
- No sunglasses
- Picture of your head + shoulders is preferred
The application fee is temporarily waived for all new applications for the following semesters:
- Fall 2022
- Spring 2023
- Summer 2023
- Fall 2023
