Kaleigh Best is an Assistant Professor and is the interim Program Director for Forensic Anthropology. She is a forensic anthropologist and bioarchaeologist, with research interests spanning across biological anthropology. Her primary research interest is currently the examination of sexual trait expression especially in regard to intrinsic and extrinsic variables, and how its variation may impact sex estimation methodology within biological anthropology. Dr. Best has experience in forensic anthropology case work, bioarchaeological and archaeological excavations, and is an active member of the research community.
